Gates Close: Midnight NO ENTRY AFTER GATES ARE CLOSED SUNDAY Gates Open: 6am Signup: 6:30am Practice Starts: 8am Riders Meet: After Practice Races: After Rider Meeting Park Admission: Cash only Gate Fees are for Sat & Sun only Gate Fees: $20 per person weekend Sunday Arrivals $10 per person No Saturday Only Passes, No Refunds Practice & Race Fee Schedule: Practice Fee: $20 per rider (Friday on the front track) Race Entry: $35 per class Qualifier Sheets: $10 per qualifying sheet (payable to MX Sports) AMA Membership: REQUIRED (All racers must have a valid AMA membership license to compete) Annual AMA Membership: $49 payable to AMA (available at track) Overnight Camping: Camping Fee: $10/night Vehicles staying overnight requires a camping sticker. Pit Vehicles, Pit Bikes: $5 weekend (5 mph, 1st gear) If you are riding anything in the pits, it MUST have a sticker. The race will be held on the back track so be ready for some roughness. Red Bull will be in attendance! There will be NO PRACTICE the Friday (may 11) before the race. THIS weekend will be your last chance get some laps on the back track before the Loretta Lynn qualifier on May 12, 13. Come rip it up! Friday 4/13/12 FYI Cowboy Badlands will be closed tomorrow and Sunday. We are servicing our major equipment and getting all the dead fallen trees off both of the tracks. Back to regular hours next weekend. Thanks! Wednesday 4/4/12 Don't forget we are having open practice tomorrow night from 5-10pm on the front track. Spectators free, $20/rider. Don't forget our event coming up this Saturday night, see blow for details. The FMF South Texas Night Series heads to Cowboy Badlands this Saturday night, April 7th. Track will be GNARLY for Sunday, had a great rain today. Back track will be full prep and its gonna get ROOOUUUGGGHHHH! Come get an idea of how the track will be for the EVO race on Easter Sunday (April 8)! Front track will be prepped Monday for Tuesday night practice under the lights! Opens Tuesday from 5pm-10pm. The TORCS race will be postponed until further notice. The trails are under water. Cowboy Badlands will be hosting Round 2 of the South Texas Night Series on April 7th under the lights! For event and series info check out www.freestonemx.com. Posted - March 12, 2012
We are open every weekend for practice now (weather permitting). We are currently working on the trails and the ATV/UTV park. Replacing some bulbs in the lights on the front track, we will be having night practice soon! We have posted new information on the site for the upcoming round 2 TORCS offroad race. We are posting information on the site about the Houston Holeshot Championship Series, South Texas Night Series, EVO Club Series, Loretta Lynn Qualifiers, and the Ponca City Qualifiers. All for 2012.
